Colored Topaz
Colored Topaz is a natural white topaz that has been coated with a metallic oxide on the pavilion (back). Differences in the metallic oxides create different colors as seen by man. Our colored topaz is not to be confused with irradiated Blue Topaz. Topaz in nature is commonly colorless. Golden, orange, pink, red and purple are quite rare in nature. With normal wear you should get years of enjoyment from your colored topaz. We recommend cleaning your colored topaz with a cleaning solution designed for opal or pearl. We suggest the use of Windex or mild soap to clean your colored topaz
